Well Saturday night, Sunday, and this afternoon I have been working on my latest projects. I painted the radio trim, ashtray, center console, and automatic seat belt holder. I also pulled the hood to replace the hinges, painted underneath that plastic windshield wiper piece and painted that plastic piece. I still need to paint the wiper arms and that plastic piece that goes on the bottom of the windshield(ran out of primer--not sure when this will get done)

Anyway, thought you guys might like to see some pics of the latest project on my 240....

Center Console....No making fun of my shift knob.

I used Krylon primer with Krylon flat black. Any flat black will work just fine, I just chose to use Krylon.

I used flat black with a clear coat over and hated it because it was too shiny. I just loved the dull, nonflashy color and tone of the flat black. I don't want flashy interior plastic pieces.....subdued colors are where it's at for me. :D

Not too bad, just have to be gentle. You just take out the two screws. Then I stuck a flat headed screwdriver under the part that faces the front of the car and u can pop them open. Just be careful when you do it. Theres one plastic snap and another plastic thing that goes through the metal of the seat belt.
