Good looking car, but a question: Stock air box and NOS?

A lot more work to do--but good so far.

Ok, that explains it--but I think you would be better with leaving the "ram air" piping and putting a short ram intake with cone filter. Just a suggestion.

I don't know what she'll run haven't gotten on a track yet except for a 1/8th of a mile when they are street racing they just have someone falg you instead of lights and fabaindawg its not you the are but the are smooth no ponies so the just look like a basic rim that is all I car right now 17" x 8" and the bolted right up no spacers no rubbing got them cheap and like them better then stock I am going to use them tell I can afford some light weight wheels

Very nice, clean looking car man! Looks like you keep real good care of her too. Is it lowered, or are the rims just filling in the space? I'm not fond of park bench spoilers, but they do help out in downforces,is it an adjustable wing? I think the rims look better than stock, don't mind the mustang comments. Mind me asking what the nitrous setup cost in total?

the nitrous and the gauges I got from a friend cost $600 for tach, a/f gauge, nitrous gauge, bottle and all the tubing all gauges are autometer phantom series which at the time he got them were the most expensive gauges from autometer plus he installed everything for me including making the gauges pods for the center console and the ashtray..........................................

he said about 1200 new for all the gauges and the tubing but not real sure on his price totals he has a tendence to stretch the truth

The park bench on the back is what my friends and I call it is adjustable but not much at the time I bought it I wanted an aluminum spoiler but didn't want one like 20 feet tall so it is only 5" tall but it is coming off when i get ready to paint the car going to put another spoiler on there buddy just moved to okinawa so I am going to try to get me hooked up with all kinda of japanese goodies

and last but not least I didn't lower the car but after putting the rims on it might be because it filled up a lot of gap

Robbie,

Good looking S14! It's cool what you did as far as the wheels, even though they are Rustang wheels. The wing doesn't look too bad as far as wings go. What kind of lightweight wheels are you going to get?

$600 for all that, that's quite the hook up man! Hey, can you feel the difference with the spoiler on, because from what I've heard, the spoiler has to be above the roof line in order to work properly. Has the nitrous given you any trouble, and do you think its worth the $1200 for everything (I have no hook ups, and I don't think I'll need top of the line gauges)? Nice gauges BTW. I'm seriously considering nitrous, justwant to gather some feedback.

What color are you planning to go with? If you get the hookup in Japan, think you could help a brother out?

:D

thanks for the info, and your paint looks fine in the pics (not a big fan of red though).

Repo these are the rims I want http://www.importfan.com/produ...=2839but in silver

S14=pimpn I am having a little bit of trouble trying to tune with my nitrous due to lack of funds to keep the bottle filled at $3 a lb and having a 10lb bottle it gets kinda expensive but as it sits its great the spoiler to be honest I can't really tell because it is been on for so long my take it off and see if I can tell a difference and as for my boy in japan I am just keeping my fingers crossed plus if he can hook me up you have a guarenty from me I will do what I can to get some stuff for ya

Pimpin- the only time you usually see the wing above the roofline is for hill-climb cars. The roof is designed so that air flows around it, think of air like water, or think of a jetplane's wing. Same thing with the roof, the air flows around it. The wing just changes how the air flows as the car goes by it, and how that affects drag and downforce on the rear end of the car. It definitely doesn't have to be above the roofline...

Little slow on the uptake here, but better late than never, no?

The Rays Gram Lights are the EXACT wheels I want for my car too. I'll take the bronze color, as it will go with the dark green my car currently is. That's Juniper Green if you want to get technical. I'm glad you posted that link because I have not been able to find pricing on those wheels anywhere! I have 16x7.5 TSW Stealths on my '92 notch currently, but those G-Lights would rock.

Would +30 or +38mm offset work better on a '92? Any opinion?

Thanks,

Andy

thanks frappe, I suppose my buddy told me that bs in order to justify the height of his park bench. Kinda made sense to me though, but you're saying any height is ok for a mechano (adjustable) wing? I think they are ugly, but I wouldn't mind one if it makes a difference on the track that you can feel. The titanium colored ones would look pretty sick on my ride, if that was my style.

As for mustangs, the V6's are pieces of ****, but an older 5.0 or a newer svt cobra will spank any stock 240. i don't pick fights i can't win, so i don't mess with the V8's.

Nice car redrocket, but i'd think about changing her name. i don't know if you ever saw the redrocket episode of southpark.

by all means I am not lacking rims I got a set of stock se rims and a set of 300 zx rims that were powder coated black those are drift rims I have tires on all of them too so I am not lacking another set of rims the reason for mustang is I paid 200 for the rims and the tires so wider and fatter tire better traction on the strip so thats why.
