Hello Nico. I've been lurking these forums since about 2010, kinda keeping quiet and just browsing through and learning as much as I could, and recently, as I'm sure plenty of you have seen, I've been posting on what I can asking questions and answering some with what I've learned.

However, I never properly introduced myself, and I feel kind of bad for that. So just as a teaser, I've added an older picture of my coupe to my sig, and I'm posting a pic of my latest mod that I'll be (hopefully) installing Friday. It just came by UPS today from XenonSE-R.

GReddy Spectrum Elite direct from GReddy.

Just installed a sway bar too, but I don't feel like jacking the car up today.

Image My Injen SRI

Image My "tinted" tail lights. Just black housings really. Still blend a lot better than stock to me.

Image And what the tail lights look like at night.

I hope you guys dig what I've done so far. Future plans are to eventually get some 18" wheels, lower it, and find a way to get a y-pipe without worrying about failing visual inspection in Virginia. I'll get a pic up of the C-Mod grill as soon as its installed.

Maybe I'll see you guys at Carlisle next year. Can't make it this year.

I'm Brian by the way, and these forums rock!

EDIT!: C-mod installed. I went for a two-tone approach. It looks more aggressive to me. Everybody agreed that it looked amazing in person. Hope you're not too upset with me Beasy. Hahaha. Hope you guys enjoy.

Update!

Just got a set of the elusive Doc's Illuminated Kick Plates! Managed to snag a set during his latest run. They're pretty sick, and the install wasn't actually that hard. I didn't use the t-connectors supplied. I soldered and shrink wrapped the connections instead. It looks amazing. Here's a pic!

Racingline Y-Pipe installed. It sounds gnarly.

Just an update. Installed a new head unit and 2 10 inch sub woofers. Nothing crazy. Actually thinking the car is done other than maybe getting some new wheels. But I'm also looking into a new car too. The V6 is killing my wallet even though its one of the more efficient ones out there. Looking at some smaller displacement engines with turbos. We shall see. I love my coupe like a kid, so it'll be hard to let go if I decide to try and save on some gas.

Well on your way! Picked up some nice mods for what Im sure was a great price.

BUT...please, PLEASE remove that dealer badge and license plate frame from the car!

Lol some of these pics are old. I'm currently rocking a GReddy license plate frame and no dealership emblems of any kind. The front burger is about to be abolished from the car, but I think I'll keep the rear one.

If you arent going to keep the front burger, are you going to cut the bumper support bar? It sticks out like a sore thumb through the C Mod grille. If you were to pop the burger on the C Mod it covers it nicely.

Also, are you going to color match the C Mod? Please say yes, PLEASE!

Well with how nicely you asked, I might have to haha. I was thinking of putting it on the way it is to see how it looks, but the more I look at this thread, the more it seems to be a good idea.

And has anyone had any issues with the bumper sagging without the support bar?

Definitely color match it, would look a million times better. And i got rid of the "support bar" and have no swaying as of yet but I've had my c-mod on for about 8 months now. But so far the coupe is looking good nice job should def considering making the Carlisle trip it's an awesome time

C-Mod's installed! Check it out :D

Also, I got some stuff that I need to get rid of. Stock tail light housings and some tires for stock 17" wheels. Let me know if you're interested.

Yeah. I've seen your post about it. I really honestly think you got a defective pair. I've been rocking these for over a year with no issues at all. But thanks for the input.

For a nico member, 150 for the pair. I looked it up and they "retail" for about 205 each! And by retail I mean stealership.

Got off topic... sorry. 150 for the pair for a nico member. :)

Will those tail lights fit/match a 2012 coupe? I called a dealership and they said anything before 2012 may not be the same tint of red. I only need the drivers side tail light so I'm trying to figure out if I need to replace both.

Sounds like the dealership wants your money real bad. I'm selling the pair to any Nico member for 150, and the dealership wants 200 or so for just one tail light. I'll ship them anywhere in the US. Let me know if you want em. :)

Haha I would say that if you're gonna spend like $200 to replace your taillights, might as well just get the LED tails. Same cost, twice the sexy.

I like how the stock taillights look, not the lighting tho. And I haven't seen the LEDs tails in action so I'm a lil worried I don't like them. They only make them in black right? Like the ones Metallic has?

Edit: nvm, they make them in red too, gonna have to think about it.

UPDATE! Just ordered the coils from BC Racing and picked up Seismyg's y-pipe. All good things to come.

On a side note, how many of you used gaskets when installing the y-pipe? Are they necessary? I don't want to just slap it on there and have leaks or a blow out later.

You can get them from your local Nissan stealership, or Courtesy Parts if you can wait to have them shipped and want to save a few bucks.

EDIT: Here, part number 20691 x 2 and 20692M x 1

So today, there WOULD have been pictures of the coil overs installed. However, BC happened to send me a set of D23 coils rather than D28 coils. I'm really lucky I noticed this mistake before attempting to install them. Called BC, and they have provided me wth a return shipping label to get the right coils. Install pics will be coming in the next two weeks or so, depending on how long it takes to get the right ones.

Stay tuned.
