I was wandering if anyones has some pics of their Tuner's mounted in the car. Id really like to see any custom mounted ones but whatever you have is fine. Im thinking of getting one but I dont want a windshield mount etc. Thanks and lets see what you have....

its actually nice mounted where you can see it, so that you can monitor stuff in real time.

It does look good there. Im just looking for something more integrated. Something someone has put in the a-pillar or in one of the vent mounts like they sell online etc. Or even a custom mount. I can fiberglass just about anything so Im just looking for anyone else's versions before I come up with my own ideas. Thank you

I, too, wanted to avoid the windshield mount when I get mine. I had planned on using the little cd cubby under the stereo/temp control (R&R the door with a custom tuner housing). Shouldnt be too difficult if you're already handy with fab'ing fibre products. You could even simply remove the door, and cut out a hole to fit the screen in, and fasten the module to the back side, preventing any heavy time investment AND maintaining a somewhat stock appearance in that area. Just a few ideas I had.

That was pretty much exactly what I had in mind also. That door for any mounting idea purposes I think would be nice. Although it isnt flat it is close enough and would be enough space to rig something up in there and also hide all the wiring etc by having it come out the back. Im pretty sure Ill go with something in that direction. Ill be sure to post pics when I do get this started.

Please do. I'm curious to see how it turns out. Best of luck!
