What's the deal with the intake collectors on the RB engines? I've noticed that there are two styles, one that sits on the left hand side and one that mounts on top of the engine. Are these intakes just different on different engine years?

Edit: Whoops, i just realized that's an RB25, not an RB20, that would make the difference :)

Also, we build a custom manifold to point towards the front, so if you saw pictures of the 2 completed RB swaps on our website, you saw our manifolds.

Those are sold separately, yes. Of course, they will require custom piping, but other than that, they are bolt-on. Pricing information and pictures are available on the website, http://www.unstable-hybrids.com

So this basically proves the sway bar issues are only with the RB20, right....

The perspectives are hard to judge from. a shot from directly underneath to show clearence from the front of the pan to the back of the sway bar would be great.....aside from that the question is which sway bar is it.

not really. from megallas pictures it looks like the sway bar clears, but on my car it looks exactly the same from those perspectives, yet the oil pan is still touching the sway bar. there is absolutely no space between them on my car. i have an rb25 in an s13 coupe.

Here is another pic of our 240sx with the RB25det in it. We got it running now and it is going to the body shop now. I will post more pics of the car when we get it back.

I used stock engine mounts with the crossmember.
