i need a new manifold, mine is cracked to hell. but i have a gt2876rand i always thought the top mount looked like a nice setup. is anyone running a top mount with a t28 . i would think it may look awkward because its not a big turbo....but may i have some pictures please

You would have to get like a t3 to t2 adapter flange http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ories and change your oil feed and drain lines. Also a down pipe.

Who cares if it looks awkward so long as it's functional? I personally wouldn't do a top mount for a T28 just because there's no gain to doing it.

If I were you, I would either get a new stock mani, or consider finding a quality equal length runner setup.

thats the prob my manifold is cracked and i need an external waste gate and the one i have now doesnt have the band for it sooo...but isis from enjuku makes a cast iron top mount that looks like it would be good for 200 dollars. thats why i was asking about top mount with a t28. or i could just keep it bottom mount but i dont know a manifold that wont crack....any ideas?

Email them and order a T3 turbine housing to swap on. Youll gain some power in doing so because the T2 inlet is pretty restrictive at higher rpm. Plus once you have your T3 setup in place, the world of turbo selection really starts to open up.
