hey guys i havent been on here for awhile. Ive been thinking and deciding on putting 17s on my gf Versa. I got to thinking that i actually like her 15s but they just look weird right now because they are on 185/65/15 tires LMAO. I was just thinking of getting 195/50/15 tires for them.

Thats when u guys help me out with pics so i have a general idea of what they are gonna look like on a versa, preferably with a drop. thanks!

EDIT- it doesnt have to be 195 just as long its a 50 series and 15s. thanks again

You are aware that a 195/50/15 tire would leave insane wheel gap (even with a drop!), throw the speedometer and odometer way off, and not be the proper load rating, right? A 2700 pound car shouldn't be put on tires with only a 82 load rating. The lowest profile size you could do with the stock 15"s is a 205/55/15. That size has the proper load rating and looks much less like a donut than the 185/65/15 tire.

Edit: A 205/50/15 tire is right at the stock load rating so this is a 50 series tire that would work. Just note that this is a much smaller tire height wise than the stock tires.

Well since the 15s are aftermarket, a 225/50/15 tire would fit and probably give massive grip but there aren't many tires available in that size. If you still have the stock wheels for it, it's best to use those for dedicated snow tires. True snow tires will always do better than any all-season tire.

Btw, I'm interested in seeing what the stock tire looks like on an aftermarket 6.5" wide wheel if you can post close up pics of it. I find that even the dinky 185 tire looks bulgy on the Versa's narrow 5.5" wide wheels.

LOL! Then go for it!

The only tires I've bought for the Versa so far are winter tires and went with 185/65/R15 for them. Dealer recommended that so I bought it with Sacchi rims.

They don't look too bad for winter wheels...

she has the same tire size. i just think they are kinda big and want a lower profile tire. looking at 16 or might look at a good deal with 17s

YA I know there is A LOT of rubber on these tires, but I wouldn't want anything less for a winter tire.

They have been great in slick/snowy conditions. Hopefully I can take them off in 2-3 weeks :D

If you got 16" wheels, a 205/50/16 would get the look you're wanting while staying close to stock tire size diameter.
