I'm bored today, and I just got new tires today, so I thought I'd take some updated pics. I apologize for the quality, I'm not much of a photographer, and I have a low end digicam. The sunlight doesn't help, either.

Greddy V-SPL fmic, complete with sagging bumper lip:

Dirty engine bay shot, note the coolant reservoir:

Side shots, the wheels look too small now:

Gauge shot. That's boost in the vent hole, soon to be joined by EGT. That's water temp on the left and oil pressure on the right in the radio slot, with the turbo timer below them. All the gauges will be surrounded with ABS plastic as soon as I get to it.

I love the badass look of an FMIC. and dont worrya bout the sagging lip, mine did too. Get in there with an xacto knife and trim off the 'unneeded' parts of the bumper, it helps

heh, I can handle not having a radio because it's not my daily driver. I'm on the road working 5 days a week in a company truck that has a nice radio :) . I only drive the car on the weekends, and even then I never drive very far.

i went without a radio in either of my cars for more than a year. It really forces you to listen to your car, and your tires.

if your not gona put a radio in, pull the speakers for weight reduction and leave the mesh grille. what are you going to do with that coolant tank, did you re-route the line or something, it looks like you did.mine is like that too, though not that bad, i think im gona use some clear rtv

Thanks for the compliments. Nope, no track or strip numbers. I haven't had time to take it anywhere. I prolly won't even get to drive it much at all until the last week of april :( .

The bumper cover sags a bit because the metal bumper support is removed to fit the fmic.

I keep meaning to pull the speakers, but haven't gotten around to it. Yeah, I rerouted the coolant line, mainly because I pulled the reservoir to do some work on that side of the reservoir, and forgot exactly where it was supposed to run. I think I'm just going to go to a junkyard and find a reservoir out of some other car that's about the same size...that thing is $95 from a dealer.

Im a bit confused... there is a tein sticker on the car... but there still seems to be a bit of fender gap.... eh maybe it just looks like a gap because of small wheels? btw... I love the motor.

could be tien S-tech, those are notorious for not lowering a car.

dude, i went to the junk yard and they are all like that, the sun goes between the cracks on the hood were it closes and deteriorates it. mine had a quarter sized hole i just fixed it with some rtv liquid gasket. try routing it to the washer tank, just drill a hole in the bottom of it and use some rtv like glue, cuz i see you removed that. i can take some pics so you can see were that line goes. and how that rtv turned out. maby you can fab some kind of patch if you dont use the washer tank idea

if you can get a tank from a car other than a 240, that may work, the holes probobly wont line up though

if you notice the low profile tires he has on the stock 15 inch rims, it makes more sense :D

Also, you can see the camber plates in the engine bay, so im guessing coilovers.

Very nice car, man. That FMIC looks great. I'm all about the gauge placement, too. I have been driving around in an RX-7 with no radio for 4 months now, I'm used to silence. ;)

Nice car...Just out of curiosity, how do you plan to mold the abs plastic? I'd like to add some instrumentation to my car, where the cigarette lighter and dash pocket are, fiberglass seems really difficult to do that with...
