Pics from the accident

I finally got some pics of my mom's car from my accident last Saturday. The car is on the border line of being totalled....my mom and the body shop are pushing to total it. My mom hated this car and wants something new.

man Im on my 3rd car and the last 2 got totaled, that body shop can do it for you if they want to. an extra bit here and there, and some more labor here

I know they can fix it very well. I went to school with their son and they're friends of the family. My mom talked to him and said she wants it totalled if at all possible, so thats why he's pushing to have it totalled too. It's on the edge of what they will pay to have a car fixed based on it's value.

well thats what I meant is they can add on charges to the estimate to total it out.

oh ok....got ya.....according to their "estimate", the car had $5k in damage

whats the worth of the car right now. tell them to look at axel damage if you hit the wheel and be pickey I guess. I work for a body shop, so If I can help you out at all tell me.

The price a dealer could sell it for is around $6000-6500.

Doesn't look too bad, but then again I don't want to be in any car thats been in an accident. Just not my thing.

yeah if a dealership is that close then it should defiantly total out. do a http://www.KBB.com and a http://www.nada.com value on it.

yeah its crazy when an accident doesnt really look to bad then once you tear it down you find something even worse.
