I've never been a fan of inboard-mounted lights. Saturn used an inboard layout for the primary headlights on their mid-late-90s models and the look always drove me nuts. It definitely doesn't bother me as much with fog/driving lights, but I still prefer the normal outboard look.

I think they look pretty good.. they dont stand out when they're not on...

I kinda agree with MoD though... but the most important part is that you like them, because of course none of us have to drive your car!

Like Wes and Chris said its all up to you because no matter what we say the decision to keep or remove them is up to you.

If you sort of want to make it look OEM you should get the JDM Nissan President (JHG50) fog light switch. And put that in place of the microphone as that is the correct position on the Nissan President.

But I had a 1991 Q45 and it had similar fog light mounted in the same location. Of course the air dam was partially broken too. But you have such a nice car after seeing those pictures!

Do you have a Q45 or Q45t?

How did you get the wire to the interior for the fog light switch or did you use the headlight relay?

Thanks for the input everyone, they were $13 so i said what the hell

Paul, its a 1990 q45 and thanks, ill put up some pics of the interior later too so you can see the seats we talked about a while ago. i passed the wire through the wire boot on the right side of the car under the hood, past near the ecu, under the carpet and to the center console. I put the switch on the inside in the center console in place of the cd changer control. Its not done yet but when it is ill post some pics.

Good luck on finding such a switch as it cost me $50 for just the Power folding/heated mirror switch to my door. Sadly its the wrong color (Brown) instead of the proper black.

I think it could be made but thats just a guess for now. It involves using a spare defroster switch and removing the part of the switch you press to engage/disengage the rear defogger. The paining over it slightly like shown by Chris (Minister of DOOM) and then putting a vinyl graphic over it and making sure it lights up properly, If not repeat.
