Picking up my G37X coupe up TODAY!!!

After much hand-wringing and haggling to first find the car built the way I wanted it and then to agree on price and then to get it here from far away, I'm finally picking it up today. It's a loaded 09 G37X coupe in Athens Blue, and I love it already.

Been reading this forum a little since I started considering the purchase and you all have been helpful. I'm not into modifying it or racing it (for now) and there are a lot of terms routinely used here that I can't even decipher, but it's still interesting reading.

Anyway, I look forward to "joining the club!"

BTW, where did you find your car? I saw one just like you described at Infiniti of Memphis this weekend out in the new car pick up area.

Good question above about where I found the car, a dealer ultimately found it in Grand Rapids, MI. Infiniti's system ofr dealers to check each other's inventory has some flaws. One dealer would tell me one thing and another would say something different about whether and where the car was available. Seems like some of them "game the system" by hiding certain cars or putting them on hold. I almost didn't get the car because of this, as I was negotiating with two different dealers without knowing they both were trying to sell me the very same car!
