Picking Up G35 Sedan Tomorrow - Basic Car Wash / Wax Tips?

I am picking up a black on bone g35 sedan tomorrow.

I want to keep the black looking good and enjoy washing my cars...

Is there a thread with good products and such? I couldnt find it.

I STRONGLY suggest you wash your car in sections starting with the roof first. NEVER use dish detergent. Probably the most important is to use the more exppensive lambskin/leather chamois. NEVER ever use towels or rags!

Wash the car with dish detergent to remove any waxes. Then get you a clay bar and a bottle of quick detailer. Claybar a section at a time until you have completed the entire car. Now you are ready to wash the car again with specific car wash soap of your choice. Dry the car off and now its time for some wax on wax off. THis should keep you busy for about 4-5hrs.
