alright so i've saved up about 3,500-4,000 and i think i'm going to go with an sr20 stock swap. i plan on doing this with my uncle who owns his own shop so i'm only looking on paying for parts no labor.

i'm still not really sure if i should go with a front clip or just buy an engine / transmission. i already have the smic with piping (was going to go ka-t but blew my motor =x) and i'm not sure what parts i will need if i just get the engine / transmission. if you guys could just tell me what i'll need if that would be great. i've searched and found some stuff but still not 100 % sure.

also one of my friends have gotten many motors from TigerJapanese.com and said he's never had a problem with them. do you guys know anything about them.. good ratings / bad ratings? also http://www.osakajdmmotors.com/ how are they?

if you guys know any other places that are reputable and have front clips / engines for a good price please help a brotha out.

and if anyone feels this can't be done with 3,500 please let me know.

thanks and sorry for the noob questions =( i will continue searching and hope i find everything i need.

I believe the STICKIES have engine importer reviews! Plus, I know I've seen plenty of threads before about people wanting to know about osaka. Search harder.

As for the clip or motorset deal I say go clip. Just search what you need if you get the motorset, ask the company what their including then figure out what you're missing.

dude seriously listen to me. osaka sucks thats where i got mine. they screwed me hardcore. i have had mine for a year and still dont have all the bugs worked out. and i've had the head off 3 times. trust me good price but not worth it. plus they dont send you the ignitor, maf, and mine didn't come with the hotside outlet pipe, my crank pully was chipped, and they come with a aftermarket cam angle sensor. so i wouldn't even think about them, o and i head the head off because my orriginal head was all screwed up
