Need some help picking out some tires for some new wheels i just got.

My old setup was 17x9+12 with a 225-45-17 ( i had to run a pretty good bit of camber in the rear to pull that off with the height i have the car set. the new wheels are 17x9 +15 but ill probably end up running a 10mm spacer in the rear.

option 1:Im really trying to get some 225-40-17's but thats not looking to good right now. dose anyone know why no one makes that size????

option 2: 235-40-17, i have seen this setup on some 9.5s but it really didn't look all that much smaller then what i had with the 225-45.

option 3: 215-45 / 40 -17 might be to much stretch for my liking.

This was 225-45-17s on my coupe wheels are 17x9+12 ( my goal is to go a little lower and have a half way decent alignment.)

Don't know exactly if going with that tire will help attain your goal or not. Also, I think federals run a little bigger maybe some of those in a smaller size?

It seems like the 215/45s might be your best bet IMO, especially if you want to go lower while keeping good allignment.
