Picking out an intake

I have a 2001 Sentra SE 5sp stock, I want to buy an intake but don't know what to get, what brands do I look for?

those cheap ones on ebay are crap right?

And also does anyone know where the peak horsepower of the car will be?

do you know if you want a cold air intake (cai), warm air intake (wai), or short ram intake (sri). you should probably do some research on the difference and figure out what kind you want first, then people will be able to give you a better idea of brands you should consider...

I thought I wanted a CAI but the research I've done showed that it wouldn't make that much of a difference cause I don't have a turbo?

So I figured I would just go with a new intake.

A CAI will make more power, but if you're on a tight budget, a short ram will be fine.

All intake mods are amplified by having a turbo, but that doesn't make them pointless.
