if you want discrete, get Circuit Sports. It looks exactly like stock but has larger piping, 3.0. Or you can get Apexi Noir exhaust. These are the two that I am planning to get because it doesn't have that blingy character. Cops, here in NYC, pull you over for having a can in the back.

bro, I don't know a place where they do swaps. I would say to look around. if you do find one, let me know where.

Go to youtube and search for exhaust clips to hear how they sound.

Get a Super medalion hyper/Apex ws2 muffler, take that to a muffler shop and get the piping there. I am looking into just the muffler because I don't think it would be worth it to put that much money into an exhaust unless you already have a turbo

not necessarily, I'm sure the piping you'll be getting from the local mufler shop isn't good quality stainless steel. Plus, I've seen megan racing exhaust for less than 300 bucks. I wouldn't call that expensive.

Search for exhausts as this gets covered roughly twice a month and fewer and fewer people are responding. That said, the quietest exhaust that I have heard (and presently own because of which) is the Blitz Realize TT. Looks very simple, shiny muffler single tip, excellent ground clearance, perfect fit and finish, and quiet. It is 3" piping, but the muffler and pre-muffler neck down inside. Sounds deeper than stock with no rice. And that is on a non turbo KA E with a header. The bad part? I paid close to $650 shipped. It hurt, but I got over it pretty damn quick. The next best would be Apexi World Sport/ Hybrid Megaphone/Noir exhaust. The only real difference is the Noir is black coated from beginning to end. Appearance is very similar to the Blitz. Traditional shaped oval muffler with a big tip. This bad boy is almost as quiet as the Blitz. Quality and fitment are top notch. It's also cheaper than the Blitz at roughly $500 shipped. The last one that I have seen/experienced first hand would be the 5Zigen Border III exhaust. A bit louder than the Apexi, similar design muffler and excellent fit and finish. This lands closer in price to the Blitz than the Apexi though.I, personally, am going to pick up an Apexi here soon as I have a feeling there will be a second S13 in my future. Judging by the extra parts I seem to be subconsciously hoarding.

it's a cat back exhaust. it starts at your cat. you'll be good.
