my motor just arrived at the port....heres somthing i should have asked but the search came up with nothing good....how does the install go exactly...anything i gotta worry about after i rebuild it and putting it in? thanks for the input

the actual mechanicals of the install are easy...IMO the wiring is tougher though, I'm not sure how to do it but I'll find out soon! CONGRATS on getting your engine! now change your name ;)

I've actually heard wiring's easier on the ca than the sr...I don't know yet...just got my harness today:D so I'll be swapping as soon as I find garage space!

As for rebuilding/or whatever...replace all the coolant lines and the vaccum lines and all other soft hose lines...maybe some seals since its way easier to replace those out of the car. I've heard rear main seal is a good one to do when the engine's out of the car...

I'd replace all the turbo gaskets (300zx gaskets from Nissan?) and generally check the condition of the engine to see if anything else needs replacing...oil filter too, and check your oil pan for dents...

Thats what I'm in the process of doing right now actually:D
