I have nearly everything on my turbo kit figured out, except for the turbo. I bought a z31 turbo but turns out it will not work properly with my manifold. so I need to sell it and get something else. I was looking at getting a super 60 t3 with .48 ar. I figure this should spool pretty quick, and i shouldn't have any problems making 200 or so rwhp. What do you guys think? I do drifting a lot so i figured i should go with something pretty responsive.

second - where do you guys buy turbos at? so far i have found this turbo for 375 at boost designs, and for 359 at turbocalculator. the ones at turbo calculator are re manufactured, are the boost design ones new or..? does anyone know any other places to buy this at?

thanks!

Well why won't the Z31 turbo work? Were you lucky enough to get one of the really late model Z31 T25's? Or is i because the mani you have is for an external gate? (I'm assuming you have a T3 mani.)

I don't have the time right now to plot the flow on a compressor map for you but I'm sure people have used the Super 60 on the KA and should be good for well in excess of 200hp.

Have you tried http://www.cheapturbo.com?

Well, here's the compressor map. I didn't plot it for you, but it's not hard to do. I really don't think 200whp would be a problem *at all* on this turbo. I think AceinHole was making quite a bit more than that on a little T25.

Edit: The Boostdesigns turbo looks like a great price. I'd ask PJ here on the forums, since BD is now a sponsor. I find it hard to believe that it's a brand new Garrett T3 for that price, but if it is that would be great.
