Pickin Up a 93 Vert...

Sup GuysI'll be picking up a 93 Convertable today. Im getting it for a steal because it dosnt run. The owner says she let it sit for about a month and when she went to start it it wouldnt start, I havent seen the car yet so I didnt get a chance to look at anything. I know it has 120k miles though.

The question I have is, what sensors are prone to fail on these cars over time that would make it unable to start?

i bet if you put in a new battery it will start. the sensors dont just go bad after sitting for a month

Welcome! I just got another 240 too ..not a vert though. Luckyyyy! There really doesn't have to be any sensor malfunction. A battery will drain if it sits for a month or so uncranked. Dirty terminals will cause it too. Post pics when you pick it up!

thanks for the info.Well I dont think its gonna be that easy though I hope so. She said she had a couple mechanics look at it and they couldnt diagnose what was up. Im thinking its the fuel pump or the signal to it but I will definatley post pics.

check all the fuses and relays.

The convertibles are nice..

My ONLY problem with them is that NONE are standard!!I would HAVE to do a conversion, automatic is plain WRONG!
