95 5 speed. kouki front end conversion.

considering this car has 130k and a salvage title........It will be my new drag project. I'm going to do a full roll cage, tubbed w/ slicks and skinny's. I will most likely keep a full interior in it, as I'd like to drive it on the street every now and then.

thanks!

I got it real cheap. and I was in the position to make a lot of money on it if it had a clear title. the title the guy gave me was clear. however when I went to sell it to a friend on this board, he ran a carfax, and the title came back washed. meaning, that it was salvaged at one time, repaired, then regestered in a couple different states. somehow this cleans the title. I was bummed at first, but for the price I paid, I cant complain. Its in good hands now. the car is a complete hack job. the wiring needs attention, the transmission had about half of the required bolts holding it to the engine, bent control arms, dented oil pan, broken oil pickup tube, blown struts.....blah blah blah. the list goes on. the guy that owned it knew nothing about cars, and was slowly running into the ground. I've already fixed all the major problems. I have a five lug conversion w/ z32 brakes for it as well. It will get all new rotors, wheel bearings.....the whole nine yards.

mods when I bought it:stupid body kitRacing Hart wheels/ new tiresTein springsact clutchred top SR swapgreddy front mount3.0' turbo backbad *** pioneer head unitgay speaker box w/ no name sub. ( gone )

since I got it:tokico strutskoyo aluminum radiatorflexilite fans w/ fan controllernismo motor mountsrelocated optima battery w/ cut off switch per NHRA.

and a whole lot of elbow grease.

thanks G!

I dont see this car getting a lot of road time. as soon as I move into my new place its going in the garage and going up on stands. the engine is coming out, and I'm going to build my first sr. like I said, this will be a serious drag car very soon. I have a gt30r, equal length manifold,(top mount) and EMS for this bad boy. http://www.wotm.com has sponsored me, and is making this project somewhat affordable.

but, yes. when the car is up and running I will attend the meets and head out to the pavs w/ you cats.

Nice car. Should make a great project. But I don't mean to nitpick....but in no way is it a kouki s14. It just has the front end. That's like saying an 89 S13 with an S15 front is an s15 or a silvia.

Regardless though, great buy.
