I'm working on a device to shrink me down to 1/64th my current size so I can "drive" my kids (3) 1000+ hotwheels and Matchbox cars.

Looks cool! Are you going to do a BRE tribute? My dad had a 510 and a wagon. The wagon had an mazda rotary engine swapped in.

I've got 2 of them, I had some cash parked in my paypal account so I ordered paint for the one I have stripped to bare metal. The other one I haven't decided yet. I'm looking for wheels, which is actually a lot harder than you'd think. I think I can dial in some camber once I find what I'm looking for.

What are you planning to paint it? BRE?

I was thinking about it for a while but there are already better BRE replicas in 1:64 scale that I could just buy for $4.00 so accounting for the $0.00 the car cost (came out of the cost of the party I didn't pay for), the $5.00 in paint and supplies I'd already be facing a losing proposition.

I decided to pick my favorite Datsun color and go with "what would I do if I had a real 510 to play with?" as a theme. The second car will be a backup if I mess the first one up. They're $0.98 at Wal-Mart with plenty left on the shelf if I need more, but I don't really feel like wasting too much money on this. It's more because I am too sick to work on my real cars and I get really bored sitting at home.

My goal is to have something neat and different that I can give my kid someday along with my giant bin of Legos and Star Wars collection. In the meantime it will sit on my desk at work.
