$200 - Next thing I was going to get was the T740 volvo intercooler for like $90. I found this link: http://wwwrsphysse.anu.edu.au/...r.htm any comments or suggestions on this intercooler? It has flow efficiencies on some link down. Just trying to piece a kit together and bidding on steals as I can find them ...

Both Summit and Jegs has the MSD 6BTM listed for $335...where are you getting your info?

There are 2 kinds of BTM's. The first is the one that works with the stock ignition. These go for 165 like redline said. Now there is one that comes with a 6al ignition with it, These are closer to 300. I choose the one for the stock ignition.

...and the one in the ebay ad looks like a stock ignition one also... although I'm not familiar with the Vortech units.. is that a MSD sub-company or something?

Aw, you ****! I was looking at getting that one but was waiting to hear back from MSD about getting the knob. They did call me the next day and say they could hook me up for free but I told them that some jackass had already bought it. :) The 6BTM setup is sweet, capacitive discharge and boost timing retard and I think that unit has the rev limiter on it too. Enjoy my, I mean your ignition.

I think they just made this one for vortech's premade kit. Its apparently exactly identical to the MSD 6BTM units w/ different cover.

=) I called MSD first about the knob because I wasn't too sure if they'd give one out for free. Even before I told the tech I had one he's like what's your address so I can ship you one. Oh and thanks, I will enjoy MY ignition. =)~

It actually is a 6BTM. At least that's what the seller says in the auction. It says Ignition/Boost control on the cover. 185 is a pretty good deal. Bastard ;) Hopefully it works good. It sounds like it was just refurbished or something.

Its is a 6BTM!! I didn't get ripped unless it doesn't work. These retail for 335. But if you see the receipt it shows the repair slip from MSD and the date was like 4/5 or something, very recent.
