Pick Up issue G35 2005 6 spd

Hi:

I have a G35, 6 speed, 59K miles. It was running great, however, recently its been having some pick up issue. It has the power but the pick up is not as smooth and responds a few seconds after I hit the gas. I thought of changing spark plugs/pcv valve etc, but dealership said this car does not need all that until 100K miles. What could be the problem?

Dirty air filter, dirty MAF if the air filter was not changed every 10k miles, bad gas?

Air temperature and humidity also has an effect

The air filter is new. It may be the MAF or bad gas. I will get gas from a diffrent store now. Can I clean the MAF?

You can clean the MAF but it's very sensitive. Have you tried simply resetting the ECU?

If you touch the MAF be careful as Matt said...however DO NOT attempt to clean the throttle body. You will break it.

The dealer cleaned my throttle body when the plugs were replaced at 106682 miles. There are some things I won't mess with and that was one of them.
