Pick it up tomorrow!!

Picking up my new G37 coupe tomorrow and I am very excited. Got a great deal since I get a VPP discount for working for UTC a company that works with Nissan on fuel cell vehicles. I think this is a great deal:MSRP 42,025 coupe with nav. premium package, splash guardsPrice 37,400 after VPPLease for 39 months with a 60% residual and a .00236 money factor.Monthly payment $428.

Also have a question regarding body side molding on the coupe. Dealer says not available and I think Infiniti doesn't offer it on the sport coupe. I got it on my 2004 G35 coupe and thought it looked good. Just wanted to know if anyone has seen it on a G37 and what they think about how it would look on a G37?

I’m sure you're right that Infiniti does not offer side moldings for coupes. I also thought about putting them on my 2004 G35 coupe but decided the car looked better without them. I maintain that belief for my G37.

Thank goodness that after four years I never had a single dig on the G35’s doors. I chalk it up to being careful where I park, and the purchase of a set of magnetic, plastic dig protectors (panels about 12” x 30” that matched the car’s color) that I kept in the trunk and stuck on the doors when I just couldn’t avoid a potential parking compromise.
