I have a fugly dent on my rear quarter panel (who doesnt? its so common on these cars) and i was thinking of just getting some rear over fenders to cover it up. The thing is i have oem bumpers all around and im not a fan of body kits. Anybody have any pics of them on a coupe? And another question. Would i be able to get datsun 6 spoke rims to sit flush with 30mm over fenders on the rear? ps. I dont mean those thin fender "flares". I mean the ones that actually cover the entire rear qp. -Chris

it would probably look goofy on a completely stock car, but with a nice drop and decently offset wheels it looks pretty good with a set of like 25mms on the back

i must have missed that part. if you want the wheels, just fix your fender. if you want over fenders, get some nice wheels. some 17's would be FANTASTIC. if not 16's at least

Eh, damn. Im trying to save money since im running low on cash. I dont want wider fenders just to fit crazy offsets, i just wanted to get rid of that dent before i two tone it. And i really suck at things like offsets so i wouldn't really know what to go with. Well id still appreciate if someone could still find some good shots regardless theyre datsun rims or not.

post pics of your quarter, it might be cheaper to pull it, and fix the dents than make overfenders work... you need some baller wheels to pull it off.... datsun wheels can be cool, personally id go with swastikas since they are 15s

if your on a budget it might not be the best thing to do overfenders because until you paint them and get them molded to the body it will more than likely look like crap if you dont do it right

just my .02

the primered pic of that car looks way worse... or maybe just the angle. You can see where the overs arent flush against the body like crazy... maybe its just my opinion though. Sick Z though

Just the fact that whoever's car that is was to lazy to extend the gas tank door annoys the **** outta me...plus they are horribly molded in...just my opinion... As for the OP I would just fix the dent unless you want to drop some big numbers on wheels...

First off. The gas cap fillers look retarded. Look at every car with over fenders. 90 percent of them don't run them. Second why would you mold over fenders on? Its a car that sees the track and abuse FREQUENTLY. Body flex+plus molded on fenders is not a good idea. Flat tire or getting tapped at the track. Would have to remold it every time. They are riveted on. The way they are supposed to be mounted. For the peeling it isn't even that bad. Its the camera angle. Good day.

I wasn't talking about a gas cap filler but rather doing the extra work to raise the hinge so the gas cap is flush. It's very simple and only took me about 1/2 an hour. I like riveted on fenders that are not molded that are done right (check out the 2jz flat red s14 on here)

When I molded mine I first riveted them on them on and left it like that for a while and the never peeled (it's all about where you put the rivets and how you do it I.E if they are riveted on they shouldn't peel) Then I molded them in later...

Sunken gas door is the best thing about having wide fenders.

i <3 veebee, TOO!

and those tires on the Z dont look good, since they dont look stretched. they just look. extremely inflated.

like a doughnut. and i mean like the baked good, not the spare tire.

we need more pictures of overfenders on non-to-minimal-aero s13s.

and its debatable if its boso or yankee. whatever.
