pic request. watanabe r-type on s14?

hey nico, i have a problem. i can find wats on s13's all day long...none on s14's

is anyone out there rocking a set of rtype wats on an s14? ive serached and googled and came up with nil. aside from a photochop i dont think ill find sqaut.

im considering some -offset x9 wats...or possible a special order being placed (wider rears, crazier offset)in the near future. any help would be sweet, if no one can come up with any better luck that me, then mods delete but give it some time guys.

am i the only one who still loves wats?

theres only that 1 white car on 15's and i can only find the pic of the wheel/f.fender...i need more! 16's are what im looking for, and im fairly certain you can spec. order 17's...come one no one?...lol

Anything smaller than a 17" wheel on an S14 isn't going to look right unless the car is INSANELY low. Like, no aero scraping framerails low, and you will have to do WAY more than just coils to get it that low.

If you can do 17" Wats, do that. It would look incredible. Otherwise, there's a reason you don't see them on S14's.

well i keep changing my mind on the direction id like to take. i have alot to do first and foremost just standars bs to get it right. i may go 16's, wide with neg offset, maybe x9 &x10. however they do have a listing for 17's on the spec. order sheet....so i do want to investigate.
rest assured the car will be going low when it gets done. i may do navan front/sides and slam it on the 16's...more road racer look? i guess i could say. dunno. i love the way the newer styles have gone but i keep wanting to build somthing more of a throwback...call me crazy.
but yeah, really 17" watanabe rtypes in very low offset, possibly slight neg. offset would be very dope. i'll find out if the have build limitations on the 17's...theyl probably be insanely pricey im sure.

i do understand, but i also dont want to have a cookie cutter s14, big deep wheels, slammed with a kit. i do like supermade stuff and vip wheels on em, as i have professed in other threads but im thinking i just want a nice low streetable s14, and i like the old school style and i love me some watanabes so ive been considering combinign the aspects...and i havent seen anyone do it around here at all, if it gets hate then so be it but ill have done it. plus i think ill be hanging onto this one for a while so if i do it and it doesnt feel right, i can scrap,sell and hit the restart button
