So the previous owner of my s13 shell already cut out the front wheel wells and I need to tub them out before my motor goes back in.

Ive seen a few s13's but I never really paid attention to how the details were done. So if you guys have any pics of a well done setup please post them up!

I'll get pics of my car some time today, but now I have to go clean it out and start painting the interior, well the metal any way.

poshatch- yeah i doubt it does too, but it does interfere with my wheels turning and I don't want to leave giant holes in my car, thats just crappy. Just wait until I get real progress done on my shell and I will make a build thread.

But I will post some pics up later of a shell I bought with nicely tubbed fenders. I'll have them up later tonight or tomorrow sometime.

Formula Drift has rules that prevent you from tubbing, hence why some cars just have the wells cut open.

Thanks out to win, that was kinda crappy.

Thanks for the info. I was discussing the cage with the boss yesterday and I wanted to go through the firewall and brace the strut towers but that was FD non legal so I probably wont do that.

My fenders were cut by the PO, so I'l tub it now. And if its an issue i'll just cut them back out and rock it open- if this particular chassis goes to FD.

Any way bring on the pics, I will probably be mocking these guys up sunday. TIA

Hell yeah that's my goal, and I'm going to make it. I don't have any delusions of winning, but I'll be competitive for sure.

Thanks for the pics ILMN- Most of the tubs I've seen are s14's so they are definitely different. Doesn't look like I'm getting my cage material today so looks like I will be making my tubs this weekend. Can you snap a pic of the tire side of it? I'm thinking of leaving the factory pinch weld to keep structural rigidity up, and in case I ever need to rip them out lol.
