Ok, I managed to smoke a random animal the other night and break part of my front bumper. I think the broken part can be covered by a front lip. The pieces are all still there, but one bad crack. So Im going to repair it, but Im pretty sure a lip would cover the repaired area.

Here is what im wanting a close up of, thats where my crack is, and im hoping the lip will cover it once I repair it. I figure if the lip covers it, Ill just have the lip and my stock side skirts painted to match in the spring.

Borrowed a pic. lol

If your going to get the front lip make sure to get the back and side skirts too or your car might look funny.

I've always wondered - do the factory Sport side skirts (like the ones that Bob sells on Versaspeed.com) come already color matched? If not, wouldn't it be the same thing to just paint the skirts that are already on the car instead of buying new ones? Or do they have different styling? It's hard to tell from the pics.

the factory sport side skirts on the 08 should come paint matched

i think if u get them at the dealer 4surr they should

and they do offer diff styling since the regular side skirts are abs plastic

they sport ones look more like side skirts

nonono! The 'sport' side skirts are bigger (so it makes the car look "lower") than the non-sport side skirts. SV has the Stillen lip and valance, but painted his stock skirts and you can't tell. (unless you really think about it, the difference in size is minimal)

Yes, im having my STOCK side skirts painted to match the lip. Havent decided on the rear yet. Im going to wait on that.

After I recover from X-Mas, I have a deceint list of stuff I want to do to the little beater. Not alot, but it will be rounding 35k miles come spring, and theres some items I would like to do, to help out the daily drive.

Not that I understand why anyone wants their versa to look even lower, straight from the factory it looks pretty low! A friend stopped by the other night who wasn't familiar with the versa, and even asked if I'd replaced the springs because it looked like it was sitting low! Actually, the curve under my front bumper has already (in three months) taken some scrapings from driveways with steep inclines...

I don't know about you but the Versa is no where near my "low" requirments. When you can't fit your finger between your fender tire streight in then thats low enough...but I usually go alittle lower then that.

You're welcome to your opinion. Personally, I like a little room between my tire and my well, in case my suspension needs to, you know, *do* anything.

I had to buy a low profile jack for my C5 corvette. Its side skirts were right at about 3 inchs off the ground.

Only pic I have showing the lowness, track rims with 29inch tires on the back.
