pic request: rb20 ps pump bracket

Okay what's the deal with my PS pump... It takes a 4 rib belt, but the crank pulley takes a 3 rib belt. Do I have the wrong pump or the wrong pulley?

Can someone go check out their (RB20) PS pump & crank pulley please LMK how many ribs it has?? Hell even if it's RB25 or RB26 I'd like to know....

Edit2:Ok I learned something that might help someone else down the road...According to the ever useful RB Parts Exchange thread, All RB26s and all RB34s use 4 rib belts. Not only that, the RB26 uses a much longer belt (means larger diameter pulley or different ps pump bracket).

Here's the belt lengths required. (35" = 876mm)R32/R33 RB20: 3 rib 855mmR32/R33 RB25: 3 rib 845mmR32 RB26: 4 rib 950mmR33/R34 RB26: 4 RIB 969mmR34 RB20/RB25: 4 rib 865mm

So this explains why the Gatorback 4030335 aka 3pk0850 belt I tried was too short... It seems like I need a 36" 3 rib belt to work the RB26 or R34 ps pump I have with my RB20/RB25 crank pulley!

Someone go measure the diameter of their RB26 ps pump pulley and let me know? Someone else measure the diameter of their RB20/RB25 pulley and post that info...

Thats how it came with the motor so I assume thats how it is.

You are correct. The smallest one is for the power steering, then a/c unit, finally your alternator.

Just checked and both the crank and power steering pump has 3 ribs on em.

Its more like this:

Crank Pulley - l_^_^_^_l

PS Pump - l_^_^_^_l

So they actually match 100%. Looks like your crank pulley is wrong.

crank pulley is an RB25, that's what I thought... But I checked out my RB20 pulley that came on the motor and it's identical to what I have on there now... So I think the pump is off another RB.

I'm just going to run a 3 rib belt like I did on my KA/Quest alternator (same exact issue).
