I'm in the process of gathering the necessary parts for an RB25 swap into a '93 s13 HB and had a quick question/request regarding the gauge cluster. I know that some people have swapped in the R33 cluster into the s13 (already have a pic on my computer) but it clearly doesn't fit like a glove. I've heard that the overall shape of the R32 cluster is more similar to the s13's so I was hoping someone might have a pic to illustrate how well (or poorly) it fits.

Also, I am thinking of just buying the modded 6 cyl tach from http://www.lsauto.com and separate gauges for water temp, oil temp, and boost pressure. Is this really necessary, meaning, what elements of the s13 cluster can be made to work properly with just a bit of rewiring? Please don't flame me...I've already searched as best I could.

Thanks in advance!

Using the S13 cluster.

1)temp- you just need to replace the RB water sending unit with one from the KA. They are about 10bucks if you don't have one from your KA laying around

2) Oil pressure light can also work by using the KA lower harnes

Then buy the lsauto tach and speedo and you are good to go.

I would recommend buying boost/temp/oil pressure aftermarket guages just to protect your investment.
