you know, now that you mentioned it, i don't think we have a lot of X owners in here. we should do a M35X roll call.

M35x here. From what I've read on some of these threads, the Espelir springs (did I spell that right?) is the way to go with AWD lowered suspension.

X owner and Espelir spring user. There's enough difference between the AWD and sport models that I didn't want to risk it. Different front weights, different components, and a whole slew of electrical components that engage and disengage the AWD system. Tein's have been done by one other member that I could find in my research but nobody (that had posted) that had had them longer than a few months.

Good luck and make sure to post some pics when you finish!

All 3 of my Infiniti's have been X's . . .honestly i'm starting to dislike them . . I always end up getting an X for the AWD capabilities . .but with the problems that follow when it comes to lowering and the whole issue about staggered wheels on AWD . . .i'm starting to think it's not worth it . . .

In your sig it says the AWD Espelir dropped the front 1" and the rear 1 1/2"??? . . .the way the X sits now the rear height isn't actually that bad . .the front however looks horrible, completely 4x4 lol. . .I don't think I would want the front dropped 1" while the rear gets 1 1/2" . . .to me it seems like it should be the other way around . . .

Unfortunately, that's as far down as the front would go on springs. Initially the rear drop was even lower, i brought it back up to offset the visual appearance. After settling (need to update my sig) they're now both about even at 1.5". Here's a cross-post to the write-up I did with pics before it settled. At the end of the day, anything was better than the SUV appearance I had before doing the drop...

Damn bro your M looks sweet . . .I really want a drop but those Espiler Springs are too much for me . . .what about the Tanabe NF210 . .are those any good on the M's?. . .they say 1" in the rear and 1.5" in the front . . .what really makes the Espiler's so good for the X . . .i'm a noob with suspension tech . . .is it the spring rates?? . . .what are the spring rates on the OEM springs?
