Hello everyone, Though I've already asked some questions around the forums, I haven't had time yet to post pics of my ride. These are "preliminary" pics since my apartment is being "rebuilt" now and my photo editing studio is out of commission. But that's another....LONG story.

Anyway, here is my 06 G35. Yup, we're in love

Thanks for looking!s

Nice ride. If you ever decide to get aftermarket rims and get rid of the OEM rims, let me know . Any plans on mods yet?

Thanks for the kind words guys. I'll be doing a calendar shoot this summer for a local exotics club so I'll try to shove my car in there when we're taking a break and get some more decent pics.

As for mods, none so far except for the Ipod interface. Not really planning to mod it out. I like it stock. Possibly different wheels in the future.

Thanks AR.The trick is that right next to the car, maybe 10ft away there is a bright, tall lamp. As with using natural light when shooting portraits next to a window during the day, this one provides light in the same way. I could use a reflector to light up the rear wheels though !

Hi 99Q

It's not manual. After 20yrs of driving manual I'm tired of it. I just wanted a car I can cruise in. My left leg is larger from pushing the clutch in Vancouver's traffic which is horrendous, and since my daily commute to work is quite long, I wanted it at least to be relaxing

LOL for some reason i found it funny to think that if i have been driving stick for 20 yrs, that'd mean that i was 5 when i learned! HAHA but anyway welcome again and i shall ask now, how do u like the G so far?!

LOL, well, as the comment in my post says, "we're in love". It was my dream car for the longest time. I remember when they first came out, my room mate at the time showed it to me and my jaw dropped. Well, now many years later, no room mate but I have the car:)

I find it funny how some ppl slow down beside me on the street and stare...ooohhhh yea

A few days ago I went to the US to pick up some stuff (no, not that:) ), and the border guard said..."nice car son". My ego just keeps on inflating hahhah.

LOL that's awesome. I wanted the G since it came out too....and i waited 5 whole years to finally get one!!! And god i love the stares too...that and the envy from the students where i work (in a school) when they figure out that it's me drivin the pearl white G coupe!

You work in a school? LOL, that's awesome! Hey, look at it this way. You're doing a great service to the students. When they look at your ride, they suddenly remember why they should study and get good grades

It seems that when I drive past a highschool around the time when the day is done, now and then I get some punk pull up beside me and rev up the "engine" on his '90 Civic Hatchback with a Foldgers coffe can for exhaust. Ahhhhhh....those silly kids.

On a separate note, why is my signature NOT showing up? It's within the required size!

Where i work, the kids drive BMW's and Audi's and what not. One kid has an '09 Maxima....he has a love/hate relationship with me. He was like when him and a bunch of other seniors figured out what car i drove, and that it is stick. He tried to tell me he had a G37, until i found out it was a Maxima (not that having a maxima is a bad thing) now he gives me this sorta dirty look all the time in the hallway until i have him in class. Most recently he tells me that he just finished paying off his "no front plate ticket" cuz he saw that i took mine off and it looked so sexy that he copied me! HA!

Back on track, you have any plans for the G?

Ha! That's funny. I had my front plate off once but the cops had a hayday with me everytime I got caught so I said forget it. But I must admit, it looks MUCH better without it. I ALMOST got an 08 Maxima. They had a demo model for $34,000. But as nice as it is, it's just not a G

Plans? Hmm...not really. I just got my Ipod interface put in, I'm ordering black floor matts from the dealer coz the gray ones will be filthy in no time, not to mention it will give a nice contrast inside. As for the engine, I think I'll leave it stock. This will also help the re-sale value. Besides, having been riding a sport bike for the last 10 yrs, I'm all too familiar with speed Your G is absolutely spotless and stunning. Very nice ride! Keep her/him that way and high five!

LOL i'm very meticulous with my G, well with both my cars for that matter. I have a few things i want for my G...cosmetic wise. I mean i'm in the middle of a (2nd) oil consumption test cuz unfortunately it was a quart and a half low after 1,500 miles...yeahhhh so they told me to come back for a second test and to come back after 1,000 miles so the test will be accurate [cuz i was 500 miles over last time, oops] then i'll get a new engine if it shows that oil is missing, which i'm pretty sure it will!!!! I mean besides, i don't want to do anything that will change the sound, so i have a few cosmetic mods in mind...which will hafta wait till i get some $ cuz right now i'm saving for my wedding and a house.

I actually have this bumper right now... and the eyelids (which will be one come spring)...but the bumper wasn't quite what expected (fitment wise) so that will be fixed hopefully sooner rather than later.

Sigs only show up once per thread, that way when scolling to read, it saves page space and not everyone has to scroll past each members sig.

BTW...nice to see you around Lauren! How goes the wedding plans??
