It put up a GREAT fight!! It took out line several times and then as it got closer in, starting running down the beach (typical of sharks)!!

Rachel caught the shark on fairly light tackle. She did a great job fighting it! Dad only coached!The hook was starting to straighten out too!!

Wow Rich.... surprised this thread hasn't hit 5 digit view count. Everyone always teasing you about your daughter. She's as pretty as her old man! I'd love to meet you guys next time I go to NC... and try some famous NC BBQ... if you're any good at that. I've never been into fishing. Maybe since I'm allergic to fish I have no interest in catching any. My wife loves fish, but only fried (wtf?) I do love lobster and crab legs and shrimp and cow and deer and moose and pork and chicken and turkey and quail and pigeon (if I happen to be practicing my slingshot at grandma's ranch in mexico), not big on lamb or snake or veal or ostrich or "other white meats"
