I was wondering if anyone could help me out a bit. I'm trying to see what my car would look like with a black hood or carbon fiber hood and with smoke overlay headlights. I've been trying to do it myself but for some odd reason I can't cut the hood out properly to save my life. Any help is appreciated.

Sorry dude...I'm on my new laptop and don't have any of my textures on my harddrive just yet! If no one else has done it for you in a couple of hours, I'll try and dig something up!

Everyone's a freakin' critic........ lol

I work with photoshop for a living, but I mostly do people. Cars are relatively new territory for me........ Also, I'm using the touchpad on my new Macbook (I'm too lazy to get my tablet from upstairs... *sigh*) so the edges are a tad sloppy. /excuses How do you do smoked out headlights?

I haven't used photoshop in a while but when it comes to overlay I would make a selection around the headlights and then create a new layer.

Fill that selection of your desire color and then lower the fill level or use one of the blending mode for that layer or do both.

I do my photoshop with my laptop and touch pad lol. it's a pain but I don't care lol. I would have done the same headlights as you probably, but with a different blending since that doesn't look like vinyl. but seriously I'm just nitpicking, good job!

I used to do everything with my touchpad too...but over the last year and a half I've been completely spoiled by my Wacom. Now, using the touchpad even for just regular computer stuff drives my wrist insane after five minutes!

...and why do the damn pictures always look crappier once they've been uploaded to a website?!?!?! That's always driven me nutty.........

Vote #2 right here!!!!!!! I'd love to see a CF hood for our cars! We share the same hood as the sedans, right?

How about a CF hood with Cowl Induction? Even if it is just for aesthetics I would be all over that.

Yup I've been eying that VIS hood for a little bit now...

They make quality stuff, and I like the fact that it's OEM. I think it would look nice! Unfortunately, I have better things to spend $700 on at the moment...

Smoked headlights look tacky. I don't like them at all...
