Photos of my LS6 Swapped S13

V8 240sx? Sure! If either the chassis OR the engine is non-Nissan (i.e. SR20 in an RX-7 or LS1 in a 240sx), we've done it.

im thinking about using a Nismo 1.5 rear. I havent one my research on the rear options too much yet. ITs not going to be a drift car, just a fun street car, plan on doing some racing

fwiw, i have the same trans as you in my sbc swapped coupe, and it is rather hard to come up with a useable gear for a nissan diff. i had considered going to a solid rear axle with something like a 3:08, but thats a little too low for me really. unless you have an e overdrive youll find the same problem.

im actually going to go to a 5 speed so i can have an overdrive gear and keep a decent rear end gear, and not have to spin to engine way out to get any kind of speed.

this helped me a lot. good luck!

I would prefer a 3.7 gear, this is a good trans but when it goes i plan on using a 5 speed auto with OD. The trans in here now ran me about 1200 bucks to have build so I didn;t want to waste it.

Just ordered some new goodies. 90mm Intake, Throttle body Fuel rails, and 60# injectors. A pair of used LS2 heads which I will get redone, but I have to talk to the guy at the performance shop to see what he thinks I should do for a cam. 500 ponies here I come

The good thing is now I have LS6 heads, Cam, intake, and throttle body for sale so I can re-coop some of my cost.

i already have one. t56 costs more than free. and iirc the t56 doesnt exactly bolt up to the gen 1 iron block sbc. but i dont remember exactly.

either way, if i got a t56 for free, thats what id use.

Just get it built up. The T5 can be built for serious power, or for a 4 banger. It was used in so many applications, but the good thing is theres parts kits for what you desire.
