Soooo...I've been wanting to visit nissangirl74 (Bex) and AZHitman (Greg) again for the longest time.
I was texting Bex about JCCS one night, and she suggested I ought to fly out and check out the Datsun Multistate Classic in Williams, AZ.
So I did! I also got to bring my boyfriend with me so he could see Arizona (and the Grand Canyon) for the first time. He loved it.
Arizona is a gorgeous state and you haven't visited you NEED TO.
As usual, Becky and Greg were gracious hosts and took good care of myself and Derek. We thank you!
As for the show...it definitely needs more buzz (the good kind), I feel like Datsuns could have lined all of Williams! But it was a good turn out despite the weather earlier on Friday. I highly recommend visiting this town. Some of it is very touristy due to the Grand Canyon being nearby, but it has it's charm and local places that are nice.
We got there about Friday afternoon after some rain swept through. The rest of the weekend was fantastic weather, 60-70s and windy.
First pair of cars we saw Friday afternoon:

The owner, detailing them:

Becky and Greg's minty 240z and a great sunset after the rain clouds subsided:

Saturday was the main event, everyone lined their Datsuns on the main street of Williams:

This first gen Silvia was a show-stopper. Simply stunning. Unnnnnnghhhh. Oh and the R32 was very nice too.

The gorgeous interior! I love the chrome lined gauges and the door panel bottom trim:

Oh nothing to see here, just a C10 Hakosuka and a C110 GT-R

Not sure what donor was used to convert the C110 to LHD, but daaaaang:

This owner was very proud of his roadster. He found it in a field before it was restored to its present glory. It's painted in Toyota Rav-4 blue, and he custom made the rosewood dash pieces:
