Allrite Folks,
I love my car as much as every single on of you in here. This is basically my first car I brought with my own money. I love my car to death. But should I let go of her ?
I think I"m the fourth owner of the car (which is too many as far as I go), but the second owner got into a couple of accidents with this car.
First there was a rear end collision. Then there was a hit on the passenger side door / fender of the car.
I have always wanted to fix all of that. Now that I will be starting a new job, I would like to start saving up and make the fixes. But is it going to be a worthwile investment ?

If I"m right (correct me if I"m wrong) the car needs a new front bumper, a new right fender, a new right door, a new back bumper and possibly the stuff that goes inside the bumper.
I would also like to trash the automatic shift and get a manual transmission. I was thinking that one day when my engine dies, I would replace it with an SR20DET and I would get a stick then.
But at this point I'm worried that I could invest that kind of money and get a s14 or something, instead of spending it on this car. Afterall its a 90 with 152K miles on it.

front bumper looks good 2 me. the rear will have to be put on the frame machine i bet but get some estimates and if the bumper frame damage is just after the bumper it won't really affect ur handeling or alignment so i would just MACCO the whole thing. MACCO is good bang for the buck but i wouldn't trust em with large amounts of frame work

ever think about silvia conversion? well anyways your car is in better lookin shape than mine.... i got mine for 500 bucks i think but also got an sr swap with it... my hatch must be the ugliest car with the sr20det powerplant. front bumber and fenders dont match the trim. left fender is gray instead of black.... brown torn leather seats. its the ugliest thing ive owned.... but, its also my favorite car. the car had 164k miles on it when it received the swap (92 hatch). and ive put about 20k miles on it in 7 months. i drive the **** out of my sr but it still runs strong. Its just a work in progress. all together 1.car 2.auto to manuel 3.s13 sr20det 4.labor i got it for 5grand. not pretty not low miles but i love it.
