photo uploads

I have tried several times and my photo's dont show up. They seem to be loading onto the site...but it doesnt....Can some one help? must be doing some thing wrong

Yes ...and it seems to be uploading but after that I cant find any thing...help!!!!!....thx

From that page

Click the "Browse..." button
Select file (jpg)
Click the "Upload/Submit" button
Get the "Preparing to Process image list" screen for a few sec (depending on connction speed)
You should see the "Add Photos - Select Photos / Configure Properties" screen
Here you can add a Title and/or Text
Click the "Process Files" button
You should see the "Processing Image List" screen
Lastly you should see the "No more images found" screen
Now click the "My Gallery" link on the upper left

Give that a try

I see a Add Photo/Select Photo but I cant click on it . Dont know whats wrong

nice work rex. I just uploaded a photo, So I know the software is working. Its either you aren't seeing the right things, or the settings on yor computer are not right. Its probaly user error, though.

no I didnt get that screen....It has the Add Photo/ Select Photo ...on top and nothing else

I know its not loading now...every time I try...it says my file no bytes used

Are you logged in?Are you typing in the file path? Or "browsing" to it?What browser are you using?Does the "status bar" or "busy icon" finish?

Just a few questions to help us figure this out.

yes I see this screen....and I click on the browse...and select the pic Im trying to upload......it goes into the browse box ok.....I click on...upload/submit....it takes about a minute and the goes to the screen you showed me before but the only thing there is the blue bar on top that says add photo /select photo...the rest of the screen is blank

I had nothing but problems uploading my pics, but on that screen that you say is blank, I would scroll down and there was an error message. Until I put my photos into a program or imagination station to resize them I couldn't upload them. Do your files have the right names, .jpeg, etc......

After that, click on "Process files"

Or is there a process files button for you?

What browser are you using? Firewall? DSL or 56k?

Is there something (error message/instructions) at the bottom of the page with only the "add photo/select photo" blue bar on it?

Do not use a BMP!!!

COnvert your image to JPEG

AHH, maybe that's it?? Bitmap's (.bmp) are not supported/allowed.

Bitmaps aren't supported (generally alot bigger file size for same size pic). Try converting to jpg/jpeg.

Ill try to resize the one I want to upload and try again...the last one worked and it is bmp...the one that will not up load is jpeg .But I think its to big

On the first screen with the "Browse" button, what does it say under the "Photo to Upload:" line? On mine it says no file size limit.

I am scanning the pic and saving as both....bmap...and jpeg....Im using the browse and trying to attach a file [ the pic] and it is to big.....the one that worked is a pic I save off one of the forums....the one Im trying to attach is the pic of my car .Trying to figure out how to reduce the file size....looking at the settings on my scanner ....but cant find any thing there so far

If you have a pic from another forum, you can just link it

[img]file path including http://[/img ] just remove the space after the last img
