Hello,

So I have been wondering, what does anyone use for a phone mount to hold their phone?

I use my Droid as a navigational device- so I have been hunting around to see what works best.

I found this, http://www.amazon.com/Mountek-MT5000-Sl ... roduct_top
has anyone used this in their Rogue?? I'm concerned it would hurt the CD player slot...

I just hate those rings that suction cups leave on the front window- and I live in a City so leaving any GPS, or phone mount visible is not an option. I have to take it down and store it each time.
I don't always use it, most on longer trips, or places where I have never been before.

Thanks!

I used to have a holder for xm adapter from panavise. It is mounted to the side of the cd player so it looks more like custom made but in order to install it you will have to take the unit out. Here's the base that you can get on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PanaVise ... ccessoriesbut then you will have to get another adapter from panavise.com like this :http://panavise.com/index.html?pageID=1 ... datarq=199
It's going to look something like that: Image

Thanks, Looks nice. But I don't want anything that has to installed- I am leasing the Rogue with no intentions of purchasing it when the 3 years is up (I want a new one!), so I am trying to keep it fairly stock.
It's really my wifes car- so something movable is good...

I use a ProClip device holder with a Panavise bracket. I guess the Panavise bracket has to be "installed" but it's easily uninstalled. ProClip makes their own vehicle mounts but I'd strongly suggest using Panavise's instead. A lot of ProCLip's rely on double-sided tape for mounting and they don't seem to be quite as solidly mounted to the vehicle as Panavise's IMO.

Well, you're going to have to pick your poison... Are the rings on the window a bigger issue than ease of dismounting/remounting?

My favourite device mounts are made by RAM mounts. A little beefy, but very modular.
