The Philly Region of the SCCA is having an autocross on Sunday, August 14th at Boeing just outside of Philly near the Airport. Cost is $25 for SCCA members and $35 for non members. It's also best to go ahead and bring a helmet if you have it, otherwise you can use the crappy loaner helmets on hand.

FYI to everyone: Make sure you're there at Boeing before 8AM for Z guys (except SM racers in the afternoon) and 11am for STX/B15 guys!!! Z guys and stock run in the AM and B15/STX guys run in the PM Session on Sunday. Registration opens at 8am for AM session and 11am for PM session on Sunday and closes about an hour later. Driver's meeting is a little after that and racing begins around 1pm for Sunday. You'll want to walk the course a few times before the driver's meeting, so get there early! Also, you'll get a chance to watch some of the other guys run to get an idea of the course before you walk it.

For more information checkout http://www.phillyscca.com and go to the Solo II section. A suggestion would be to pre-register so that they know how many people will be at the event ahead of time. Just go to the schedule on the phillyscca website and it will take you to myautoevents.com where you need to sign up and it will allow you to register. This will save you time and help out the organizers. It only takes a few minutes, so do it!

The only other thing you really need to bring is some money, your car, and maybe a snack since it can be a long day! Hope to see you guys there.

Directions: To Boeing:

From Philadelphia: From Philadelphia, New Jersey (Walt Whitman, Ben Franklin, etc.) take I-95 South. Exit at Ridley Park, Exit 8. Turn left at light at the top of the ramp. The second light is Boeing, turn right into lot.

From South of Philly (DE/MD):From Delaware, Commodore Barry Bridge, or I-476 get onto I-95 North. Exit at Ridley Park, Exit 8. (one exit north of 476) At the top of the ramp bear right. The first light is Boeing, turn right into lot.

Just depends. There's usually more people at Ripken due to the bigger lot, and also depending on what else is going on that weekend. But probably on average around 6-10 people or so.
