I removed the Phillips DRLs from my car as I just got my Osram DRLs. These were $190 when purchased new, but are now selling for less as Phillips has anewer design out now. I have no use for them, but they still work brilliantly. If you check my pics in my sig, you can see them ON and OFF. They fit perfectly flush under the bumper of 06 and 07 M35/M45's. On later models you may need to cut a small area on the lower bumper trim to get them to fit flush.
There are NO scratches, marks, or blemishes on the lenses. They come with the controller unit which attaches to the POS and NEG battery terminals and they switch on automatically when the engine is started and switch off 10sec after the engine stops. They remain lighted even with the headlamps ON.
I will send them with new 20lb test 3M brand tape (much stronger than the 3M tape sold at auto shops ... these held on my car until today in blistering heat and also in freezing temps on my trips in the north). You will need to splice the lamp wires to the control unit wires matching red to red and black to black. Simple enough.

If you are interested, send me a PM with your address and I will mail them in a day or so. No charge for the DRLS or the postage.

Hopefully by the weekend. I've already done the new fog lamps and bulbs, and the Osram CBI headlamps. I'm waiting on my GoPro 3+ black edition camera to come in, then I will do a vid of everything.

Ha! not harldy, no. Barrett-Jackson auctioned one in Palm Beach a few weeks ago It was just as nice as mine with 20k more miles than mine and it went for $16,500. Not staggering, considering it sold new (46 years ago) for about $7,000.
I'm keping mine to leave to my future kids.

** pictures how the caddy might look with sexy fender vents ala Freddy **

I just wanted to let everyone know, in case they didn't already, that Larz is the man. Lights showed up today well packaged, even included a brand new roll of 3M tape, wire taps and electrical tape and an awesomely detailed PM with installation instructions. Thanks Larz!

You're quite welcome! If by chance the DRLs fail to light up, the first place to look is the wire taps. Sometimes they appear to be fully connected, but they might need an extra hard squeeze with pliars to make a good connection. If you have a solder gun (which I do not) that is a better way to connect the wires. Also, and this applies to all after market DRLs - if you notice them switching on / off whilst driving .... you need to move the little control unit as it may be getting to much engine heat where it is.
Replacement DRL controllers are available on Ebay for about $20 - any controller will work with the Phillips brand.

Just FYI... in general I have switched to using these instead of the more common clamp-on style.

I also really like these for splicing. There are quick-connect spade terminals and bullet connectors as well. The shroud is heat shrink and I think it has some adhesive inside as well so they make really good insulated connections.
