I was just reading the 'offensive' thread from a few days ago - and noticed Philips' response adding he wasn't offended.

Made me think about how well he handled the situation - I'm on a bunch of different forums of all types and interests and I gotta say - he's probably the best moderator I've encountered - both in terms of knowledge and how he handles the forum.

Keep it up - you ROCK!

Totally agree, best moderator EVER!!! He knows what he is talking about and always bring you facts which is the most important.

So to other forums, you can look, but he is OURS!!!

Absolutely, this guy knows every detail about Nissan's and has great people moderator skills, and he's always quick to respond.... he's part of the reason I enjoy this forum so much.

I felt the one thread was getting a bit out of hand. Rather than let it escalate, I decided to lock it from further posts. Ranting, complaining about a vehicle, etc is fine. But if it becomes an attack on other members or gets personal, I get step in and try to calm things down. Thankfully, it seems everyone has made up since and there were no hard feelings.

You guys are all dead on... Philipa is one of the finest moderators I've ever seen run a forum. He's always around, always helpful, and always the most accurate with his tech knowledge.

I'm glad you guys realize what a great mod you have here.
