My name is Aaron and I am somewhat new to the Nicoclub forums. I've been a part of other Maxima forums for about 6 years now.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I have made a very nice Phenolic Intake Spacer Kit for the VQ35DE FWD. It fits the 02-07 Maxima, 02-06 Altima, 02-04 I35, and should even fit the Quest and Murano.

You can also visit http://www.nissanworks.com/Phenolic_Spacers.html for more information.

Feel free to ask any questions you may have. I really appreciate everyone's support so far. If you need to contact directly for any reason, please don't hesitate to send an email to [email protected].

The original post was updated since I had some links to another forum. This was a violation of the terms and condition. But everything should be ok now.

Hey man, any reason why this product isn't available for 96-2001 year maximas?

The 2000 and 2001 Maxima have a plastic variable intake manifold. Since it's made of a composite type of plastic, it doesn't heat up that much. So the gains will be small if I make a kit for this car.

The 95-99 Maxima kit for the VQ30DE is in the works. It might be a couple more months before it's ready.

$200 bucks huh? Yea. I am sorry but that is rather steep for thermal gaskets lol

Imo anyway...

but I like the idea and I bet it could help a bit... it beats putting on a bag of Ice on ur intake @ the track but the hook keeps in a lot of heat as well...

I just wanted to post some new pics:

Also, these spacers are perfectly matched to the intake ports! This is very important to ensure the best airflow possible. All other companies simply copy the gaskets, which is a big mistake since the OEM gaskets are not matched to the ports. This creates more turbulence than what you had before!

As you see in the pic below, the spacers are port matched, which improves airflow over stock.

Please feel free to post any questions you may have.

Thank you.
