Just had the windshield put in today. There is still tape at the top of the window.

Yes, the mirrors are not on the car. They are getting painted black like the roof. Should have them back on Sat.

Yes, the door handles are also missing. Also being painted and should be back on Sat. They will be the same color as the body.

The parachute mount is also at the body shop. Its going to be the same color as the body. The gas door is the only other thing I am waiting on from the body shop.

Whatcha think???

WD, I was actually thinking about you when I posted the pix. You gave me so much Sh1t for the multi color theme it was pimping before

Honestly, I would have really liked to keep the factory front end but I took it off and used it to fix my 95 5 speed before I sold it. I had the S15 stuff laying around for my old car so I used it instead of buying a new front for this car. I want people to KNOW its a USDM motor under the hood so the S15 front kind of defeats the point. Oh well. I am hoping the S15 front has an aerodynamic advantage over the stock 95 front end.

As far as the tires in the back. Those would be the all new Mickey Thompson ET Drag Radial in a 275-50-15 (26-10-15 for the americans here )

WD, Who doesnt love you???

The tread pattern is just what you see. Those curved slices in the sides. Then two straight grooves running the circomferance. Nothing more. Its STICKY too. Should be bad *** tires. NDRA rule change for '05 season RWD must be radial. No biggie. I am still going to show the Hondas a thing or two

BTW, I like the new image in the sig

wow i didn't expect to see the S15 front end on it. either way, it looks pimptastic. i definitly think the aerodynamics should help at the end of the track. i'm just curious to why you stuck with the 4 lug bolt pattern? was there no need for a 5 lug swap?

Thanks.

As far as 4 lug, Any money I didnt need to spend on the car, I didnt spend. I am confident that NISMO studs will be just fine. I cant fit Z32 brakes with drag wheels so I am sticking to stock size brakes so I saw no need to swap in 5 lugs. Mustangs do it so why cant I

^ Good call. Besides, you're going in a straight line!

I'm confident in the NISMO studs as well, they look VERY beefy (I just installed a full set of the 60mm ones).

Ivan, the car is absolutely phenomenal looking. Well done, my friend, well done.

Any chance of getting her out here for the Nationals?

Thank you very much.

As far as the nationals. I plan on racing the entire NDRA season (every race) so, I guess this means I am there

First round is on me if you make it Ivan.

By the way, is that a stock hood or aluminum?

I figured out what I don't like about the front end...your missing the HUGE FMIC. That will make a big difference. When I swapped front ends on my Skyline to the GTR front end and still had the cheesy side mount it looked retarded. I'll photochop a pic for ya with a FMIC if I have a sec.

Hell yeah.. WD buying the drinks..

The hood is VIS Carbon fiber. The center is still carbon fiber. It kind of looks black tho huh?? Hopefully I will have the mirrors and door handles back from the paint shop and it will be nice and sunny outside so I can get some better quality pix so you can see things a bit better.

I would like a pic of it with FMIC because it will never have one so I wont know what it would look like. I am doing a liquid IC which will be short routed inside the engine compartment. On the street, I think I will throw some people for a loop

Very nice, whose cooler are you using? Or are you making a custom job? I was gonna make my own out a sidemount R32 IC. We'll see...

No FMIC will give you a nice sleeper look, so long as your BOV is tightened enough to not blow off unless your putting out 3-4 psi.

I have two garrett cores each rated at 450 HP. I have the water end tanks but will be making my own air flow end tanks. The beauty of liquid ICs is that they are so small and compact, pressure drop is less, and cooling ability is more. I cant wait to get building.

BOV???? hahahaha.... NO BOV for me thanks. Its an automatic and a race car so putting in a valve with leak potential is not on my list of things to do. The turbo will be really large so it probably wont spool during normal driving. I would suspect with the planned 4" DP and my Greddy Ti exhaust, you will hear the turbo thru the exhaust anyway. I do like the idea of no FMIC tho. I think it will shock some people.

Yeah I guess with the Impeller/exhaust wheel waying like 2 lbs you don't need to worry about reverse airflow slowing down anything huh...lol. I hate GREDDY for the record. Not that it matters, I just like to bash them when ever I get the chance.

Car looks sick...all it's missing is the FMIC but that's already been addressed.

Those wouldn't happen to be work ewing III modular wheels, would they? It's hard to tell in the picture but they look very similar to mine (which, btw, are STILL for bloody sale!) except yours seem to have fatter spokes... :
