what's the deal with these guys? i've never ordered from them before but i took the word of people on the forums saying they were good. i ordered a shortshifter a week and a half ago and waited patiently for it to come. i then went ahead and asked for a tracking number through three emails. no replies. i then got restless and decided to call to see what was up. i find out that they are in backorder on the pilot short shifters for s13s(website indicated shipping within 5-7 business days nothing about backorder). then i asked about the status of my friends pilot strut bars for a s13. the reply they gave me was that they have no idea when they are getting more in. WHAT IS THE DEAL WITH THAT?! if this is the case, then why don't they post it on the company site so people are forewarned instead of waiting aimlessly for a product that they have no clue when they'll be getting them.

i hope its not like this all the time...

a rebuttle from p2m would be great so i can have some sort of relief of my order...

very true....back orders are a part of tuner life....however i think if you are that concerned perhaps you should tell them about your complaints in a respectable manner and see if they are willing to compensate the inconvenience.......and on that note i can tell you Phase two is a good shop and i have never had problems.

i'm not saying they ripped me off, but some kind of notice BEFORE i got the thing would've been nice. i ordered because I thought they had it in stock. if i knew they were in stock, i would've looked else where.

Honestly from the other side of the fence this is how I see it:

1. Always ask if it is in stock when you place your order.

2. It's not the shops fault they are on backorder. Please be patient, as this is just how the business goes. It is in their best interest to have the part out to you soon.

3. If you have a problem with the company, address it with them first. If you don't want to wait that long, call them and ask them if they would remove your order. No big deal, and if you do it politely then Phase2 will still love you long time.

4. Your assumption is not there responsibility (read: never assume, always ask)

5. It would be a full time job of pissing off your suppliers if you called them every day for a status check on all backorders, and then going through the website and re-doing it. It's easier to make a mental note for when people call.

Honestly you are getting riled up over a small matter. Just give them a phone call and ask them what they can do for you. Giving a company a negative vibe on an internet forum when you haven't even called them concerning it is kinda rude as well.

Hey!

Phase 2 is awesome. Whenever I order from them, I ALWAYS fire off an e-mail first to know if they have what I need in stock. I'll stick up for those guys every day of the week!!!

Yup. It should be accepted as a fact of life that when ordering car parts, you should always call to place an order if you are worried about items being in stock, shipping on time, etc.

If I don't care about something, I'll place an order online and just be surprised when it arrives. For the times I really need something with a quickness, I always call. Besides, it's a lot easier to deal with someone on the phone, and if you make friends with the shop guys, you can sometimes get hooked up with discounts :)

Ya Phase 2 are good people i've got nothing but great service. If you need the SS now just ask for a refund and get an obx or some thing like that they are all basically the same unless you go for a B&M.

Hi Guys,

Msg to Linny:

Hello Linny, we are very aware of your shifter order (along with any backorders people have with us). We were notified by Pilot we should be getting our shipment by Friday, so we will be able to ship out your shifter by end of day Friday with a UPS tracking. Please call/email us for any further questions, we apologize for the delay.

As for the Pilot strut bars, the only reason why we're unable to give any ETA is because even Pilot themselves weren't able to give us any ETA on their shipment, we have waited well over 2 months so we are very reluctant in giving any type of mis-leading information. So quite frankly we rather tell our customers the truth that we do not know when the bars are coming in, it could be 1 week, 2 weeks or even tomorrow..

Msg to the person bought Z32 Brake Line:

Out of hundreds of lines we've sold so far, we have got no returns on any of them. If you have complication in installing the line, please email us the problem and we can decipher what might went wrong.

For anyone that has problem with any of their orders with us, feel free to call or email us. Our email has been slow in reply lately due to massive spam we are having on our email server (over 500 spams per day) so we have to filter each email one by one carefully hoping not to delete anyone of our customer's emails. So phone call is probably the best way to reach us for immediate assistance.

Thanks for the continuous support as always, for all of our customers on NICO.

Best Regards

I've never had any complaints from Enjuku or Phase2. I've made it a habit to place my orders over the phone. I like talking with them instead of doing it over the internet.

My only complaint about Phase2 is that guy Howard(cant remember his name) made me drive 1hr to phase on a Saturday to find out that they're closed. I was suppose to purchase a cusco strut bar, he told me they have it in stock and that they'll be working on some cars on the weekend(Saturday). So I drove down there for nothing.

Wayne IS the man - Good work, guys!

p.s. Whenever you call for pricing, or to place an order, to ANY of our advertisers, make sure you mention you're from NICO.

Some of our advertisers have special pricing for our members, and at the very least, they like to hear that their advertising is paying off. :)
