I think you should let pros do it so if they mess it up it's on them. Secret Service has use the phantom grip and they rank it better than stock vlsd's.

Ok here is my phantom grip story.

I put it in in about 3 hrs, with professional help.

I tried it and it DID NOT work. And on top of that it clunked whenever it engaged.

They sent me a NEW model for free because the one I bought was the OLD model.

I never put in the new one. I bought a Vlsd instead.

I have a brand new Phantom Grip in box if anyone wants one $100 plus shipping.

Contact me if you are interested.

I think some people just don't follow directions on how to install it properly.

For those that call it a crappy excuse for an LSD, you have to judge it by price.

For the price, it's a great unit. I had it in my Civic and it worked perfectly fine when installed profesionally and correctly. I know many people that believe that they could install the unit correct, dismantling their transmission to get to their differential and had no effects from the Phantom Grip. I'll guarentee that there was major improvement after installing it in my car. For the price, it's a damn great unit and it functions.

How it functions on the 240 I am not sure, but I'm positive that I'll be getting a unit for the S13 that I'm building.
