PFC wont save?!

I have a pwr fc on my rb25 and the piece wont save the basic settings. I know it needs a two second delay after its cut off but I cant seem to get it to work. I looked at the ECCS relay diagrams and everything is hooked up correctly. I even tried a 12v switch after I key it off but that does not work either. I also tried a lead acid battery but it holds a 12v's so long the car stays running after its keyed off forever.

My car does not have any OEM harness its all 14gauge wire and relays running the bare min. Its a "race car" wiring setup... any help would be awesome...

make sure your wiring matches this diagram. note that pin 58 is always hot
