I have seen this setup many time on ebay and for the price I have to ask if it does what i think it does. Is this just like a super afc in that i can control all the fuel maps and such?

I think the f con, or at least the f con v requires special software to tune that only certain dealers have access to. It says it's for stock injectors and that the gcc doesn't have the range to compensate for any major change. If you can't change the base map or whatever on the f con you'd be stuck either finding a tuner or piggybacking the new ecu. I would call some tuners and see if they can tinker with that controller.

Ok the PFC-FCON is a piggyback but it's old school. The FCON chip has to be burned like a ROM tune to the car's setup. After that it can be tweaked a little with the Graphic Control computer. It requires Powerwriter software available only at HKS dealers and it's so old the chances of you finding a shop that has it is slim and you have no way of knowing if the chip is off-the-shelf HKS (stock CA18DET) or burned to whatever car it was on last. Bottom line, not worth it at any price.

Damn. I saw that was well and the HKS whore in me wanted it. Good to know I should keep my eye on the prize (AEM EMS universal)
