nice truck man.

im not too knowledgeable on carb'd cars. what kinda air filter you got going there? i want to get rid of the crap intake/air filter system that comes stock. i like to see the components of my engine bay, not have my view obstructed by useless pieces of plastic

its the stock air box... just used a circular cutter to cut it to the shape you see there... the filter is a k&n

it fairs pretty well... its pretty light and stiff so acceleration and cornering are ok

the problem is that there is really no class specific for this type of setup so its gets kinda screwed in indexed time

Hey, Pez. There's a thread I want you to check out in the Engineering Forum. Its called "Zero lift braced front suspension for D21". I think it might pertain to a 720 as well.

I like where the cluster is. You are such a minimalist.

The engineering forum is the third one down from the 720 thread, in the Technical section. BTW, I like your truck.

the only thing keeping from deleting that console and cluster is the heater core... everything else has been removed...

in order to remove the core i will need to drain the coolant... but until my new dash is made so that i can put my new gauges in it will remain as is... if i remove it now i won't have any gauges so until i get the new dash and gauges the entire console will remain as is

You are having a custom dash! I want to see that. PS, I hate the huge pics, you should go through and downsize them so I don't have to scroll all over just to see them, its hard to look at like that.

I like the engine setup, it's clean and simple. Question: What's the coldest temperature you have driven with that air cleaner setup? I'm wondering because I heard carbs tend to be tempermental in colder weather, and if I went that route I would end up with a engine that won't turn over come winter time.(Every car I've owned has been EFI ...)

Nice 720, not normally my style, being lowered & all but nicely done. I do have aquestion though why'd you paint it. Don't get me wrong I'm a sucker for flat black (seriously) but the paint & body looked good before? Was it just an asthetic appeal?
