Personalized/Vanity Plates

So i got personalized plates for x-mas and I have no idea what i should put on them. Here in ontario we have 8 letters/numbers max.

Anyone out there have them? what are they? thoughts?

Here in Ontario, the request gets edited very thoroughly, so something like "DRUNK", or anything potentially offensive, won't get thru, but several years ago when vanity plates were still a new thing, my brother's nieces bought him vanity plates. The intended plate was "OURUNK" (for "Our Unk"), but the plates were printed as "DURUNK"! We laughed our a**es off about it and they did reprint the plates for free when the error was pointed out.

I thought about getting vanity plates for my A/C, but since the 4-character letter prefix on my plates is "BEST" I'm not in any real hurry.

We saw a Civic at Playdium Mississauga with "BIATCH"

BEMBOL is my nickname, I got this with Leafs logo. Not a fan but long story.

I had this obsession with (don't laugh) TRYAGAIN, I don't know why but it was already taken (thank God). I think I saw it once at Square One/Mississauga.

I don't think I would use anything related with Nissan, unless of course you are Nissan for life. I'm guessing SHIFT is taken. Do you have a Nickname, Hobby?

I say no redundancy - so no COUPE - (one exception to this rule is if you had a 911 and u were able to get that plate.

I agree with using AC initials. I had been thinking about vanities for my G.

Because of the obvious relationship with the Z. I came up with

NO Z GG NOT ZTKT GZetc.

The AC initials fit right in sooo

NO Z ACAC NOT Z (or G or both)COLD AC (im just kidding ... kind of )

I would refrain from any GTR use - but I'm sure someone will BABY GTR their car and thats their right to.

Please, if you get personalized plates don't put anything about your car on it. I find it to be SOOO stupid and unoriginal when someone puts "57TBIRD" on the back of their car. Of course it's a frickin' 57 T-bird!!!

Anyway, I would suggest doing something witty that says something about you. Put something on there that people driving have to figure out. Give them something to do! Do NOT personalize like one I saw this morning "H8 TRFC". Of course you frickin' hate traffic!!! Who likes traffic!!

You could always go "3M TA3" like the Beastie's first album!

Anyway, I suggest you get what you like. Something that says something about YOU and not about the car. Cause if you sell the car and the plate says something about the car, then you have to get a new plate....

MAN you guys are lucky! here in texas we only get 6 letters/numbers on our personalized plates. I wanted to get some but of course the one thing I wanted was taken so now I just decided to wait till I maybe come up with something else.

A number of years ago, in my 240Z, I caught up to a Lambo on a highway on-ramp. His plate was "IXLR8". As I caught him, he planted his foot. The plate was not lying!

I'm with those who say to keep the car identity off the plate. It's a bit redundant and very few people keep the same car for more than a few years.
